QUALITY ASSURANCE DEPARTMENT
The Quality Assurance Department is an independent structural unit of the university. Its mission is to support the development of a culture of quality assurance within the university, the implementation of a comprehensive quality management system, and the establishment of mechanisms for monitoring, evaluating, and improving the university’s strategic priorities. The department also aims to contribute to the enhancement of the quality of professional education.
Since 2020, the department’s objectives have included:
- Creating prerequisites for transitioning to a comprehensive quality assurance system and establishing local quality assurance units within the university’s subdivisions (faculties, departments).
- Ensuring the introduction and application of innovative quality management technologies.
- Effectively overseeing the implementation of the university’s mission and strategic goals through continuous monitoring of ongoing processes, developing evaluation mechanisms and tools, and proposing improvement programs.
- Designing market-oriented academic programs (curricula), ensuring their alignment with comparable international programs, and creating effective mechanisms for monitoring and evaluating their compatibility and supporting student mobility.
- Developing effective mechanisms for designing, implementing, evaluating, and revising research and innovation programs.
- Creating tools for the continuous monitoring and evaluation of the university’s external relations and internationalization programs and processes.
- Ensuring accountability in the university’s operations.
- Collaborating with external evaluation organizations.
- Coordinating institutional and programmatic self-assessment activities of the university and supporting external evaluation and accreditation processes.
